Our customers benefit from the significant synergies that exist between the supply of NCEs, their metabolites and the radio-labelled analogues of both.
The diversity handled by our radiolabelling team fully reflects drug development pipelines:
- Potent and Cytotoxic Compounds
- Peptides
- Chiral Molecules
- Conjugates
- Polysaccharides
- Heterocyclic
- Carbocyclic
- Aliphatic Molecules
- Case Studies
Isotopic labelling imposes constraints, and presents challenges beyond those found in normal chemical synthesis – where the isotope is radioactive these become even more demanding.
Radiolabelled versions of an API can have widely differing stability, dependent on the site and number of isotopic modifications. We give support and guidance to ensure that our customers receive fit for purpose labelled API, supplied using the most cost effective synthetic strategy.
Stability, Storage & Repurification
Radiolabelled materials are subject to radiochemical decomposition to greatly differing degrees – subject to specific activity and nature of the molecule. We provide:
- Stability Studies to give an assessment of your Compound’s Decomposition Rate and Recommend Storage Conditions
- ICH Stability Studies 25°C/60%RH, 30°C/65%RH, 40°C/75%RH Stability Chambers for Stable Labelled Materials
- On-Site Storage at 2-8 °C, -20 °C, or –80 °C
- Validated –80 °C Stability Storage Facility for Radiochemicals
- Purification by a Range of Techniques including:
- Flash Chromatography (including FlashMaster system)
- Semi-Prep HPLC
- Chemical Techniques
- Chiral Chromatography
