Biomarker Research Pipeline
Our internal Research and Development spans 3 main areas:
- Improving diagnosis of cancer at the molecular level – Subtypes program
- Identifying predictive and prognostic biomarkers to answer clinical questions
- Developing technical approaches to biomarker solutions
Almac has developed the supporting infrastructure to deliver clinically applicable biomarkers starting from concept and study design to validation and regulatory agency approved diagnostic tests. This infrastructure has been established to progress our internal research and development pipeline as well as commercial partnerships.
Our three furthest developed internal projects are:
- A Stage II colon cancer recurrence test ColDx
- A DNA damage response deficiency test (DDRD)
- An Angiogenesis subtype
