An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the finance team within Galen due to ongoing expansion in Europe and USA. This role will be based in our global headquarters in Craigavon, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of information required for the company accounts, processing transactions, maintaining appropriate financial controls and other Finance related tasks as appropriate. This is an excellent varied role which will develop your accountancy career.
Working as part of the Accountancy team based in our global headquarters in Craigavon, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of information required for the company accounts, processing transactions, maintaining appropriate financial controls and other Finance tasks as appropriate.
- Good educational results particularly in numerical disciplines
- 5 GCSE’s or equivalent including Maths and English
- Part Qualified Accounting Technician or studying towards a professional accounting qualification
- Good understanding of accounting processes
(The following criteria may be applied if a large pool of applicants exist)
- Fully Qualified Accounting Technician or Accountant with a recognized body (IATI, ACCA, CIMA, etc.)
- Experience of Accounts Payable, supplier invoices, supplier queries, VAT
- Working knowledge of producing accounts to trial balance stage
- Use of ERP systems e.g. Oracle Financials
