The Role

The principle function of the Project Services department is the day-to-day management of all Almac Clinical Services customers at any Almac Clinical Services (ACS) site.  The department coordinates all aspects of customer projects through the entire supply chain and life cycle of the project.  The Project Group Manager – Supply Chain oversees a team of Supply Chain Managers and Co-ordinators who will deliver on the service to a wide variety of client types across multiple therapeutic area and study phases.
Essential Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) qualification
  • Proven substantial experience in the following areas:
  1.  Project management or supply chain management
  2. Pharmaceutical industry Clinical Trial Legislation & drug development.
  3. Management of multiple global projects in a client facing role
  • Previous Personnel Management experience OR Significant Almac Project Services/ Supply Chain management experience
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office applications (to include Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Project)

Desirable Criteria
(The following criteria may be applied if a large pool of applicants exist)

  •  Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) qualification in a Life Science or Engineering related discipline
  • Postgraduate level (or equivalent) qualification
  • Proven experience in the following areas:
  1. Set up of IRT systems
  2. Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
  3. Good Clinical Practice *GCP)
  4. Clinical trial labeling and or distribution
  5. Quality Systems
