Annual Performance Bonus – Calculations and Rules 2023/24

Almac Group wants to recognise and reward employees who contribute to the success of our business. We are therefore delighted to offer eligible employees the opportunity to participate in an annual bonus performance scheme (the “Annual Performance Bonus”), which pays a bonus when the annual targets outlined below are met:

  1. To receive the full 100% of the 2.5% bonus, a minimum of 100% of our financial performance (EBITDA – Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation & Amortization) must be achieved. This 100% is broken down into two parts – (A) + (B).
  2. The breakdown of the global Business Unit (BU) 1.25% may vary depending on the BU and site location. Where this applies, further detail will be communicated to employees by the relevant BU Head.
  3. If less than 80% of the budget is achieved for either the Group (A) or the BU (B), no bonus will be paid for that component.
  4. If less than 80% of the budget is achieved on both parts (A) & (B), no bonus will be paid for that year.

(A)- the amount paid will vary against Group budget achieved as illustrated below:

** A TOP UP amount is paid if the Group exceeds 100% EBITDA target, e.g. if the Group achieves 120% of EBITDA, the bonus earned will increase by 20% from 1.25% up to 1.50% making a total of 2.75% if the global BU also achieves 100% EBITDA target.

(B)- the amount paid will vary against global BU budget achieved as illustrated below:
