Almac’s Degree Apprenticeship in Leading on Customer Operations, in conjunction with Ulster University
This innovative Apprenticeship programme in Almac Clinical Services combines academic and on the job learning across multiple core subject areas leading to a B.Sc. (Hons) Degree in Leading on Customer Operations and the opportunity to continue and progress your career with Almac.

The Programme
Building on the success of our programme last year, we are excited to announce a further initiative to recruit six Degree Apprentices who will be enrolled on a programme of study with Ulster University Business School, funded through the Department for the Economy’s Higher Level Apprenticeship programme.
This will be a 3.5 year program, combining academic and on-the-job learning across a number of core subject areas which will lead to achievement of a BSc Honours Degree in Leading on Customer Operations.

Project Management
As one of our new Degree Apprentices, you will assume project coordination roles, within a production, distribution support services or training and compliance team. You will work as part of global project delivery teams, ensuring customer requests are met, on time and in line with the project specification.
Our new Degree apprentices will assume project coordination roles, within one of the following teams within the Project Services department:
- Production project management
- Distribution project management
- Support Services coordination
- Training and compliance coordination

Applying
Eligibility
We are looking for candidates who are qualified (or about to qualify*) with a Level 3 qualification e.g. BTEC Level 3, A levels, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent. You should also possess GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English Language (Grades A* – C).
Previous experience of working in a team in either a work, social or academic setting is also a requirement. As this role will involve working closely with customers, previous experience of working in a customer service role is desirable.
*Applications are welcome from students who are due to receive Level 3 results in Summer 2023. Any offers will be conditional on achieving the relevant qualification.
