The Company
Almac Diagnostic Services is a leading stratified medicine business, specialising in biomarker-driven clinical trials. We are incredibly proud to be involved in multiple oncology and immunology trials, which contribute to treatments for breast and ovarian cancer, lung cancer, and more. We focus on the discovery, development, and commercialisation of companion diagnostic tests, and on biomarker clinical trial management and clinical test delivery from our CLIA-accredited laboratories.
We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager who will be responsible for the sales and market development of our Biomarker business to a designated region within the Pharma & Biotech market sector. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to grow our business base by promoting and selling Almac’s biomarker services, and will include the management and expansion of existing key accounts as well as prospecting for new clients. The role will require regular international travel to meet with clients and prospects. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your experience and industry knowledge within the Life Sciences sector, with our leading pharmaceutical company.

Essential Criteria
· Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent level qualification) in Biomedical Science, Biology, Molecular Biology, or related life sciences discipline
· Extensive previous experience in a Business development role within the Life Sciences sector
· Presentation skills
· Business Development skills
Desirable Criteria

· Postgraduate qualification in business or life science
· Commercial experience within the Biomarker/Personalised Medicine sector
· Good financial acumen
