Location: Based at our state-of-the-art custom designed facilities in Craigavon

Working Hours: 08:30 – 17:00 Monday – Friday (flexibility will be required, to include meeting routinely with nightshift teams and other meetings)

The Role

Almac Pharma Services specialise in manufacturing medicines in tablet, capsule and powder form, packing commercial drug products into bottles, blisters and sachets, and provide leading packaging solutions for medical kits, vials and syringes. The expert services we provide supports the provision of medicines and treatments to patients around the world.

The ongoing success of our business has led to significant expansion, and we are now pleased to offer an exciting opportunity to join our Packaging Operations team in the role of Production Manager.

Key areas of responsibility will include Management & Leadership, Resource Management, Process Performance, Continuous Improvement and Facility Management.

The postholder must exhibit strong people management skills to drive compliance, efficiency, and a continuous improvement culture. They will work closely with the wider Packaging and support teams to deliver business objectives and ensure the effective delivery of production operations in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree level qualification
  • Previous management experience in a Packaging operation
  • Experience working in a Pharmaceutical or other regulatory environment.
  • Experience of Performance Management including use of OEE and variance reporting
  • Successful development of shift management teams and structures
  • Exposure to the end customer and routine client interaction
  • Applicants must demonstrate eligibility to work in the UK
