The Role

As the Marketing Manager for Almac Clinical Services, the postholder will play a pivotal role in developing and executing marketing plans for the designated region, ensuring alignment with business strategies and objectives. With a focus on commercial awareness and understanding of the clinical trial landscape, the individual will lead a team of Senior Marketing Associates and/or Marketing Associates to drive campaigns, manage budgets, and track ROI. By collaborating with Business Development management, the Marketing Manager will establish client targets for Account Based Marketing programs, monitor delivery, and provide feedback to stakeholders to drive strategic decision-making.

In addition to overseeing regional marketing initiatives, the Marketing Manager will work closely with group marketing resources to develop digital strategies, drive PR campaigns, and enhance visibility of the Almac brand within local markets. By collaborating with Marketing Managers from other regions, the individual will ensure consistency in messaging and processes for global campaigns, fostering effective use of resources such as digital tools and market insights. Through monitoring market trends, conducting competitor analysis, and leveraging customer insights, the Marketing Manager will provide strategic recommendations to support business growth and positioning in the competitive landscape.

This role requires strong leadership skills, budget management expertise, and a proactive approach to managing external partners and overseeing conferences and events within the region for maximum impact and outreach.

Key Requirements

  • Have eligibility to work in the UK OR possess a valid work permit that will allow you to take up full time employment in the UK
  • BA or BSc degree qualification (or equivalent) in Marketing / Communications / Business studies
  • Significant experience working in Marketing role to include planning and strategy knowledge, delivery of campaigns and dealing or working with agencies
  • Experience of team leadership / staff or significant Supervisory experience
  • Awareness and experience of all relevant marketing channels

Further Information

The working pattern for his role is a flex pattern between the hours of 07:00 – 19:00 with core ours of 10:00 – 16:00. You will be eligible to apply for hybrid working if you successfully pass probation.

This role requires international travel and coverage beyond normal working hours on a regular basis and it is a condition of your employment that you are able to fulfil this requirement of the role.
