The Role

As Marketing Executive, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing marketing strategies to ensure successful market penetration for the company's promoted product brands within the UK and Ireland.

The job responsibilities entail managing the implementation of the marketing plan across various marketing channels to promote existing and new products. You will also be responsible for delivering advertising and promotional plans within budget while overseeing the exhibition and conference schedule within budget to maximise outreach and impact, including the launch of new products and services.

You will be responsible for developing tactical activities in line with the budget, monitoring the CRM database, and drafting reports to utilise insights for efficient marketing tools. Additionally, you will be expected to author monthly marketing reports to evaluate the ROI on marketing activities, plan and arrange marketing meetings, generate sales materials, and monitor the website for regular updates, ensuring that all content is up to date.

Furthermore, you will have to conduct research on the market environment to provide the management team with regular updates on trends and competition in the industry to help identify opportunities for growth and positioning in the competitive landscape. By collaborating with the wider Galen Marketing team, you will ensure that all business unit activities are adequately coordinated within the Galen plan for optimal success.

Key Requirements

  • Have eligibility to work in the UK OR possess a valid work permit that will allow you to take up full time employment in the UK
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) qualification
  • Significant experience within a marketing role: to include the management of advertising and promotion plans, the management of exhibition and conference schedules and PR
  • Previous experience in the management and use of a CRM system

Further Information

The working pattern for this role is a flex pattern between the hours of 07:00 – 19:00 with core hours of 10:00 – 16:00.

You will also be eligible for hybrid working following the successful completion of probation.

This role will occasionally require coverage beyond normal working hours as and when required.
