- Perform major troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of equipment
- Perform equipment setup including tooling installation, roll changes, clear jams, equipment challenges, teardowns
- Pull and verify equipment reports
- Perform preventative maintenance in line with designated job cards
- Operate primary and secondary production equipment in accordance with SOP’s when required
- Perform cleaning of product contact parts per defined cleaning procedures
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3-5 years experience as a production mechanic, operator or set up person in a manufacturing company
- At least 2 years performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
- Pharmaceutical packaging or similar GMP experience
- General industrial mechanics, electrical troubleshooting on production equipment
- Mechanical/Electrical degree or training
- Technical or Trade School degree
- Electrical wiring and controls experience
- pneumatics and hydraulics experience
- Vision inspection experience
- Blister forming and bottle filling experience
- PLC programming and troubleshooting
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical controls
