Project Manager – Engineering

Almac Group is currently seeking an Engineering Project Manager for our Audubon, PA location. The Engineering Project Manager is a key role within the Pharma Services business.  The role will be responsible for ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of projects across the Audubon site.  This will include large capital projects and internal site projects as assigned by site management.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver projects across the Audubon site.  This will include larger capital projects and internal efficiency and improvement projects. 
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders (including AU site resources, Central Engineering resources, resources at other sites in the Almac network, and external vendors) to develop project plans and provide routine updates against those plans. 
  • Provide input to projects and initiatives across the site to drive value creation and efficiency improvements.
  • Drive creative problem solving to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
    • Routinely coordinate with internal and external resources to develop and deliver project plans. 
    • Participate in the development of budget for projects.
    • Provide technical expertise and advice on the design & procurement of process equipment, utilities, and facilities to be used for the manufacturing, packaging and storage of a wide range of pharmaceutical dosage forms.
    • Routinely communicate project plans and efforts to keep plans on track.
Required Experience / Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3-5 years in a production or maintenance environment
  • Pharmaceutical or similar regulated industry experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude equivalent with the complexity of pharmaceutical packaging environment.
Preferred Experience / Education:
  • Engineering Degree
  • Experience working with GMPs
  • Experience working with pharmaceutical equipment
  • Leads by example
  • Communication proficiency
  • Attention to detail
  • Can work productively independently with minor supervision
  • Self-motivated, flexible, dependable and available
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
