- Responsible for set-up/teardown of the production equipment as per approved procedures. This includes:
- All setup/teardown related activities performed as per the approved procedures.
- All setup/teardown activities properly documented on the associated batch record.
- All required machine reports printed and attached to the batch records in accordance with approved procedures.
- Responsible for completion of preventative maintenance on all production equipment as per approved work orders.
- Responsible for responding to production calls for high-level troubleshooting of production equipment. If root cause cannot be determined within given timelines, responsible for following engineering escalation plans.
- Responsible for identifying continuous improvement initiatives to minimize production downtime and optimize machine utilization.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Three (3) years’ experience as production mechanic, operator or set-up person in a manufacturing company
- General industrial mechanics, electrical troubleshooting on production equipment
- Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed
- Repairing machines or systems using the needed tools.
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.
- Understand the use of hand and power tools, machine tools, and measuring instruments
- Technical or Trade School Degree
- Pharmaceutical packaging experience.
- Electrical wiring and controls experience.
- Pneumatics and hydraulics experience.
- Vision inspection system experience.
- Blister forming experience.
- Bottle filling experience.
- PLC Programming and troubleshooting.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, controls.
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
