Almac Group is currently seeking a Lead Investigator for our Durham, NC location. The Lead Investigator will be the Subject Matter Experts within their operational area that are responsible for conducting and documenting investigations to ascertain the root cause of a deviation or complaint and identify effective corrective and preventive actions to eliminate recurrence.
***5 Days in Office***
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- The role of the Lead Investigator is to conduct investigations into reported incidents in order to:
- Assess the impact
- Identify immediate actions to be taken to limit the issue
- Establish the cause(s) and contributory factors
- Identify appropriate CAPA to prevent recurrence
- Document investigations in a timely manner ensuring the utilization of the authorized tools and systems as appropriate. Make certain details are captured in a succinct and logical manner that will allow for the investigation to be easily understood by approvers, customers and/or regulators.
Qualifications:
Required Experience / Education:
High School Diploma (or GED) with 4 years relevant pharmaceutical experience or
Associate’s degree with 2 years relevant pharmaceutical experience or
Bachelor’s Degree with1 year relevant pharmaceutical experience
Bachelor’s Degree with1 year relevant pharmaceutical experience
1 year Industry experience within a pharmaceutical or relevant regulated, healthcare environment
Preferred Experience / Education:
Bachelor of Science Degree
Experience within a role involving incident investigation, data analysis and narrative report compilation
Technical writing experience
Experience within a role involving incident investigation, data analysis and narrative report compilation
Technical writing experience
Knowledge of root cause analysis techniques
