Almac Group is currently seeking a Automation Test Lead for our Lansdale, PA location. The objective of this position is to provide strategic, tactical, and operational leadership for automated testing and vision to eClinical delivery teams, ensure high quality delivery of business objectives in our systems, encourage innovation and continuous improvement of testing techniques, and manage the on-time test completion of projects.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide vision and direction of the system testing procedures and tools, with a primary emphasis and focus on operationalizing test automation.
- This includes working with Clinical Technologies leadership and cross-functional teams to innovate and continuously improve testing techniques and tools.
- Manage the recruitment, engagement, morale, training, productivity, and performance of testing staff responsible for eClinical projects.
- Ensure high quality, and on-time delivery of business objectives via the testing teams across all eClinical projects.
Qualifications:
Required Experience / Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related technical field, or technical certifications related to systems and software development, testing, or delivery, or an Associate’s degree in related field and required work experience
- 5 years classical software testing or automated and software validation with at least 4 years of experience testing web-based interactive applications
- 3 years creating and implementing automated testing
- Demonstrated experience with leading a testing project
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Ability to learn quickly
- Demonstrated ability and interest in continued learning
- Demonstrated ability to provide continuous improvement to SDLC processes
- Ability to follow disciplined systems life cycle methodologies and produce required artifacts deliverables
- Basic understanding of Object Oriented Design [OOD] principles and design patterns
- Agile/SCRUM experience
- Basic understanding of Test-Driven Design [TDD] and testing/code coverage
- Excellent requirements and impact analysis skills for writing and automating effective tests and providing code coverage
Preferred Experience / Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Computer Science or Information Science related field
