- Establish and maintain professional associations with site & business unit specific management groups to support the implementation of HSE initiatives.
- Manage routine and non-routine HSE risk assessments to evaluate effectiveness of existing HSE arrangements and requirement for additional controls.
- Develop and support strategies to promote HSE awareness throughout North American operations.
- Support routine and non-routine tasks relating to site specific compliance requirements.
- Manage routine and non-routine HSE risk assessments to evaluate effectiveness of existing HSE arrangements and requirement for additional controls.
- Participate in developing and supporting HSE awareness through monthly employee based committee meetings.
- Immediate completion of Safety Incident Assessment Reports following reported injuries, illnesses and near misses.
- Support requirements of resulting observations, corrective actions and training associated with completed HSE risk assessments.
- Support development implementation of training requirements. When applicable provide training to the applicable personnel.
- Actively promote a safe and healthful work environment for all Almac employees, visitors and contractors.
- Accumulate and prepare RCRA regulated wastes for transport and treatment.
- Support routine and non-routine tasks relating to site specific compliance requirements.
- HS Degree / GED
- 2+ years practical HSE experience with HS Degree / GED
- Internship experience with Bachelor of Science Degree
- Bachelor of Science Degree – Related Curriculum
- 5+ years HSE experience with HS Degree / GED
- 2+ years HSE experience with Bachelor of Science Degree
- Pharmaceutical / GMP background
