Almac is seeking a  Materials Supervisor for our Souderton, Pa. location. The Materials Supervisor willl Oversee the Inventory Management, Distribution Support, Destruction Processing, and Training of Materials Staff within the Almac Clinical Services – Souderton NAHQ Wareho
 
Essential Functions
 
  • Facilitate Destruction of Material through the Destruction Program
  • Review Destructions to Ensure Accuracy and Timely Completion
  • Respond to High Level Inquiries
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert for DART
 
 
  • Maintain High Level of Inventory Accuracy
  • Confirm Completion of Targetted Cycle Count Totals
  • Review Material Inquiries to Identify Discrepancy Causes and
  • Trends
 
  • Ensure Proper Movement of Material within Almac
  • Confirm Distribution Support is Meeting Expectations of the
  • Logistics Group
  • Review Sample Requests for Timely Completion
 
  • Review and Improve Departmental Procedures
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for Materials Standard Operating
  • Procedures
  • Determine Best Methods to Meet Department & Company Goals
 
  • Supervise Staff within the Materials Department
  • Liase with Logistics Support Coordinator to Monitor Staff
  • Attendance
  • Conduct Interviews and Hire Qualified Candidates
  • Perform Introductory Period and Annual Reviews of Direct Reports
  • Provide Coaching and Assistance to Ensure Professional Growth
  • of Staff
 
 
Qualifications:
 
Required Experience/ Education
 
High School Diploma or Equivalent
3+ Years of Inventory or Warehousing Experience
Minimum 1 Year Pharmaceutical or cGMP Environment Experience
 
Required Knowledge:
 
 MS Office Suite Including Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint
 
Preferred Experience/ Kmowledge
 
One Year Experience with Oracle or other Electronic Inventory Management System
 3+ Years Supervisory Experience
 MS Visio
