HR Specialist – Part Time (3 days/week)

Almac Group is currently seeking a HR Specialist for our Souderton, PA location. The HR Specialist is an entry- to mid-level HR administrative position.
 
You will support HR Management by providing first-point-of-contact to employees and line management in critical and confidential Human Resources functional areas such as HR administration, leave of absence, benefits, employee inquiries, HR reporting, or special HR projects.
 
The ideal candidate has prior working experience in HR and the ability to seamlessly multi-task, balancing among multiple priorities, solve problems, and work under minimal supervision.
  • Acts as the primary contact for the employees and managers, addressing and/or resolving HR-related inquiries and requests, partnering with the respective HR SME team member or HR Management as needed.
  • Supports Leaves of Absence administration, in particular responding to LoA inquiries, tracking LoA process for accuracy with 3rd party leave administrator, generating monthly LoA report, and handling return to work process.
  • Handling the separation process accurately, timely and seamlessly.
  • Processes and maintains accurate I-9 verifications, I-9 audits and I-9 certification tracking.
  • In HRIS (UKG), maintains e-HR files, data entry and updates online information.
  • Generating monthly reports for HR Management and 3rd party vendor.
  • Assists with benefit tasks and special HR projects as assigned. 
Qualifications:
Required Experience / Education:
  • HS diploma required and 3+ years of HR working experience in similar or comparable role OR
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in related field and 1+ year HR experience in similar or comparable role
  • 1+ year working knowledge of US employment law and regulations in similar or comparable HR role.
  • Understanding of HR functionalities and how they interplay
  • Proficiency in MS office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Internet.
Preferred Experience / Education:
  • 2+ years of HR working experience in similar role, supporting multiple HR functions.

  • Excellent customer service skills, excellent listening & problem solving and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational, analytic and presentation skills.
  • Ability to perform required tasks with moderate or minimal supervision.
  • Ability to operate effectively in team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
  • Ability to learn using current HRIS system functionalities
  • Ability to enter data accurately and timely.
