Description of Area of Work
The Quality Placement Student will work as part of the Quality team on the delivery of a range of business and continuous improvement projects. Projects identified concern initiatives such as designing and implementing new reporting tools, capturing and presenting quality metrics globally and reviewing key Quality processes to identify areas for improvement.
Structure of Industrial Placement
The placement student will work within the Quality team, with an assigned Quality representative who will guide the student on a daily basis. The placement statement will review and understand their assigned areas, and work with Quality Management globally and various stakeholders within the business to identify and implement solutions. The role will involve active participation at meetings to discern business needs from Quality Management globally and various stakeholders within the business. The student will be required to translate these requirements and help implement the solution. The student will also have the opportunity to host and facilitate meetings and workshops with an assigned team and manage a series of tasks. In doing so they will develop a range of interpersonal and project management skills that will serve them well in any career choice.
