We know that it is our employees that make the difference between us being a good company and an exceptional one. When you go the extra mile in your role we will go a long way to recognise it through one of our various employee recognition programmes.
We recognise that levels of success, performance and quality achieved by our organisation are primarily due to the people who work for Almac. We recognise that those employees who surpass our expectations against our core values, who reach and deliver achievements beyond their normal day-to-day duties, should be appreciated and rewarded.
We therefore have in place a Global Employee Recognition Programme called ACE (Almac Celebrates Excellence). This programme, which is open to all, enables employees to receive recognition when they demonstrate exceptional behaviours related to our core values.
Almac Ambassador Awards
At the end of September every year each Business Unit nominates an Ambassador who has demonstrated the behaviours most admired by the business and which fit with culture of Almac.
Each Ambassador receives the following:
- Gross bonus payment of £1,500 (or US Equivalent)
- 2 days additional holiday to be taken in the following year
- A pack of branded Almac goods
- Crystal Trophy
- Invitation to the Almac Ambassador celebratory lunch
Long Service Awards
We like to show our thanks to our long serving colleagues for all their hard work and dedication by rewarding continuous service at key milestone anniversaries (1 year, 5 years, 10 years, 15 years, 20 years, 25 years, 30 years, 35 years).
Family Fun Days
To reward all employees and the say a sincere ‘thank you’ for the loyalty, hard work and dedication of our people, Almac hosts an annual family fun day. This day, which is totally free, is important for facilitating fun interaction between the members of the Almac family and their own individual families.
