Professor Kennedy is GMC registered and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians. He is registered under CLIA, CAP and CLEP as a medical lab director.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" id=\"h-1-clinical-testing\"><strong>(1) Clinical Testing<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Almac can provide medical support for the setup and delivery phases of clinical trials including<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Review of assays to ensure appropriate application prior to and during patient testing&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assessment of medical risks associated with use of clinical assays<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review of Patient Information and Consent forms<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Medical support for Pharma partners and clinical trial sites during the Pathologists who can deliver<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Histopathological review of clinical samples to ensure they are appropriate type &amp; quality for specific assays<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Estimation of tumour, necrotic, stromal and normal content<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mark-up of samples to allow macrodissection<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n\n    <div class=\"u-flex team:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Support pharmaceutical partners in the planning for product launch<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oversee the building of a dedicated medical affairs team to support commercialisation of the CDx<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>(4) Clinical Education<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Almac\u2019s Medical Team has appointed and managed several Scientific Advisory Boards in Colon, Breast and Ovarian Cancer with KOLs and have engaged with Patient Advocacy Groups to inform product development and meet market requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They have also worked with co-operative groups such as <strong>EORTC, NSABP, SWOG<\/strong> and <strong>CALGB<\/strong> to support assay development and publications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\"
