Current Role:
As Vice President, Small Molecules API, Dr Bayston is responsible for the delivery of integrated API contract manufacturing solutions through all stages of the drug development lifecycle. He has been a key member of the Chemical Development and Scale-up team at Almac Sciences for the past 17 years. His unique knowledge, strong technical background and delivery track record has driven significant innovation in our service offering during this time and, in recent years, he has become increasingly involved in customer management, business performance assessment and business strategy.
Previous Experience:
Prior to joining Almac, Dan completed a BSc at the University of Sheffield, a PhD at the University of Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium) and held a Post-doctoral research position at the University of Oxford. In addition, he has almost a decade of experience in various process development roles with a UK based chemical services company.
