Almac Clinical Technologies appoints Cheryl Kole as President & Managing Director
Almac Clinical Technologies today announces that Cheryl Kole has been appointed President and Managing Director, effective 1 October 2026. She succeeds Valarie Higgins, who will retire following 27 years of service with Almac Group.
Cheryl joined Almac Clinical Technologies in 2000 and has held a number of cross-functional leadership positions throughout her 26-year career with the organisation. Most recently, she served as Vice President of Solution Strategy & Commercialisation, where she has played a key role in developing and implementing the company's commercial strategy and leading continuous improvement initiatives that support business performance and client delivery.
Cheryl is widely recognised in the industry for her deep expertise in clinical trial technologies and understanding of the evolving needs of sponsors, sites and CROs. As a member of Almac Clinical Technologies' Senior Leadership Team, she has played a central role in shaping strategy, driving innovation and strengthening the organisation’s position as a trusted global partner.

The appointment follows the announcement that Valarie Higgins will retire after more than a decade leading Almac Clinical Technologies as President and Managing Director.
