Sponsorship will support a student experience project at Souderton Area High School

Souderton, PA – 14 July 2021 – Almac Group , the global contract development and manufacturing organization, is delighted to support an innovative student experience project at Souderton Area High School, in partnership with the Indian Valley Educational Foundation.

Understanding that today’s successful student experience requires access to collaborative space, technology, and a tangible connection between classwork and future opportunity, the project will support the remodeling of a large area of the Souderton Area High School library into a “Career & Collaboration Corner,” designed with students’ needs in mind. Through Almac’s financial support, the space will be outfitted with new furnishings and technology to foster collaboration, small group opportunities, and speakers, while also exposing students to Almac as a leading employer in the Indian Valley area.

The Group employs over 6,000 highly skilled personnel globally, 1,500 of whom are based across 3 locations in Pennsylvania. Almac provides a range of innovative services to the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, thereby offering a wide variety of career opportunities. Recently, the Indian Valley Chamber of Commerce recognized Almac with the “Pillar of the Community” award for exceptional contributions to combatting the COVID-19 pandemic, which included support to over 140 vaccine trials and treatment options.

Commented Alan Armstrong, Almac Group CEO, “At Almac, we are committed to inspiring and investing in the next generation of scientists, engineers and technologists who will continue our mission to advance human health. We are delighted that Souderton Area High School’s goal to expand and adapt the library into an innovative space for students is achievable with our sponsorship. We also wish to thank the Indian Valley Education Foundation for making it possible for us to support the students in our community.”

Commented Frank T. Gallagher, Ed.D., Superintendent of Schools, “The collaboration between community-based businesses with the Souderton Area School District through a partnership with the Indian Valley Education Foundation has been an incredible benefit to our students.
