Completion of Almac Souderton Facility Expansion Phase 1

In May of this year, Almac informed you that the first phase of a major expansion at our North American Headquarters in Souderton, Pennsylvania was scheduled for completion in August–September 2025.
We are pleased to confirm that Phase 1 of the expansion has been successfully completed and has delivered:
- New 7300-pallet 15-25°C Warehouse
- New Distribution Warehouse with expanded pick-face and additional processing workstations
- New Mobile Freezer Area with enablers to accommodate over 70 ultra-low temperature freezers
- New Environmental Monitoring System (EMS) providing continuous monitoring and alarm functionality for the new areas
As part of this notification, we have prepared an audit guide to provide you with an overview of the key design, build, and operational elements of the new areas. The audit guide also includes photographs, temperature mapping data for each GxP space, and a summary of the change controls governing their implementation.

Next steps:
We are now starting the next phase of the Souderton facility expansion. This phase will be delivered across 2026 and will increase storage and production capacity for a range of temperature-controlled materials. We will keep you updated as we approach key milestones.
