Like many other companies and institutions around the world, we are experiencing interference with some of our systems within the TNT network.
We are implementing remediation steps as quickly as possible. We have implemented operational contingencies to continue to complete collections from customers with scheduled stops. For customers who do not have a regular stop, collection should be arranged via our customer service centers.
Customers may experience delays in the transit of shipments, particularly inter-continental or non-EU European delivery, as we work to remediate our systems. Additionally, if customers do not have the facility for self-labeling, they may also experience delays.
We are not able to collect shipments of dangerous goods at this time.
We regret any inconvenience to our customers.
Peptide Vaccine Cocktails
The use of multiple peptide antigens in a single drug product is becoming an increasingly popular approach for the development of vaccines. This approach offers the advantage of using short peptides that are relatively straightforward to manufacture, whilst maximising the likelihood of generating the required immune response for a successful vaccine. Each peptide drug substance is manufactured separately and released for combination into a single drug product.
Almac has experience in supporting several peptide cocktail projects. As well as performing process development and GMP manufacture of each peptide drug substance, our analytical expertise comes to the fore in devising analytical methods which are appropriate not just for the individual peptides, but also for the drug product mix. Additionally we support development of an understanding of the peptides’ physical chemistry properties, which can be crucial in developing an appropriate method of generating the peptide cocktail.
