Clinical Supply Chain Management

With our Clinical Supply Chain Management tier, we act as an extension of our clients’ teams. While you provide direction and decision making, we set to work managing timelines and deliverables for packaging, labelling, and distribution. We’ll also leverage our combined expertise in clinical supply chain management, report supply chain data to facilitate enhanced supply management, complete specific supply chain system tasks (i.e. IRT transactions), and execute your decisions.

Clinical Supply Chain Optimization

Our Clinical Supply Chain Optimization tier takes this relationship one step further to enhance our clients’ teams. With this model, Almac experts will direct operations but ultimate decision making remains with you. While you retain full visibility and sign off, we’ll set to work developing and maintaining supply plans, including kit design, production planning and IRT configuration. We’ll also take care of forecasting demand and campaign planning and make expert recommendations for ongoing optimizations based on continual analysis of your study data.

Clinical Supply Chain Ownership

Our final tier is Clinical Supply Chain Ownership, where our Clinical Supply Managers work on behalf of client teams and take full responsibility for the entire clinical supply chain operation; providing full direction, owning all decision making and execution of the supply plan. Here, our dedicated people will coordinate directly with our clients’ Clinical and CMC teams, assume the role of supply manager within the IRT/RTSM system to optimise configuration throughout the study, and ensure effective communication with all stakeholders.
