Examining your EU and UK Product Launch Supply Chain Post Brexit

This webinar will provide an overview of key supply chain milestones and post-Brexit considerations for planning your EU supply chain strategy.

Emma Jordan, Logistics Manager, will apply her wealth of experience and highlight some of the practical considerations of setting up your supply chain to get your drug to market. From examining finance and customs, the various supply chain models and even the regulations that govern your supply chain.

Reviewing the ‘Northern Ireland Protocol’, a key part of the UK’s Withdrawal Agreement with the EU, Ivan Waide (Corporate Counsel, Almac Group) will join Emma to provide insight into the Protocol, how it puts Almac’s global headquarters in Craigavon, Northern Ireland, in a unique position (with access to both the EU and UK markets) and its impact on the supply chain and movement of pharmaceutical drug products within Northern Ireland, GB and EU27.

Education: BSc Economics with Finance

Emma is responsible for the Logistics Department within Almac Pharma Services; encompassing the distribution, warehousing and procurements functions of the business. The Logistics department is responsible for managing the despatch of temperature controlled material throughout Great Britain, Europe and Rest of World, as well as supporting procurement activities on a global scale.

Emma has gained significant experience in supporting Clients to navigate the regulatory and customs landscape to develop supply chains bespoke to their product needs.

Emma joined Almac Pharma Services after graduating from Queens University Belfast and has held different roles within the Logistics Department of the company. She has gained significant experience in several fields within Logistics and has led numerous projects within the business including the addition of a new cold chain facility and is listed as Responsible Person on the Almac Pharma Services Wholesale Distribution Authorisation (WDA).
