Current Role
In his role as Senior Technical Quality Specialist, Dara is responsible for the validation and commercial release of drug product and packaging process NPI’s at Almac Pharma Services’ Craigavon and Dundalk sites. Both drug product and packaging process introduction require the development of documentation such as plans, protocols and reports which Dara will either compile or review and approve as part of a multidisciplinary team. These documents outline the validation approach, test steps and reporting requirements for each product and process. Further to this, as part of the multidisciplinary team, Dara supports the generation and approval of other project documentation, including risk assessments and change controls.
Experience
Dara worked for an engineering company for 10 years prior to joining Almac. Engineering was an industry he found himself in after completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology. Studying and working in these wide-ranging areas has helped him throughout his developing career journey at Almac, providing Dara with a vast amount of experience in both problem-solving and working as part of several multidisciplinary teams.
