Current Role
In her role as Senior Technical Quality Specialist, Joanne is responsible for the co-ordination of validation activities within Almac Pharma Services to ensure that processes and procedures achieve compliance with EU and FDA requirements in a timely manner and are also compliant with Almac’s global quality standards. Her role entails a number of duties, including generation, review and approval of validation documentation, develop project validation strategies, support investigations into validation events and supporting the departmental on-boarding program by providing training as required.
Experience
Having initially joined Almac Clinical Services as a Project Coordinator, Joanne decided to pursue a career in Technical Quality, a decision driven by her previous experience in managing ISO compliance in Information Security and Quality. Joanne found this chapter in her career, although challenging, to be extremely rewarding. Setting up her own company with both an information security management system and a quality management system, implementing clear, repeatable processes and therefore maintaining a quality service for their customers whilst ensuring the company was managing risks relating to security of data following the best practices of the ISO standards. Joanne’s skill set developed greatly in this role, and she was able to then transfer this into her existing role today in Technical Quality.
