Dr Gemma Logan, Project Group Manager, Almac Diagnostic Services
Dr. Gemma Logan is a Project Group Manager at Almac Diagnostic Services, where she manages the development and validation of biomarker and CDx programs in collaboration with major pharmaceutical partners. She holds a degree in biomedical science and a doctorate in molecular oncology from Queen’s University Belfast. Since joining Almac in 2015, Gemma has led numerous projects, ensuring their alignment with regulatory requirements and advancing precision medicine through innovative diagnostic solutions.
Dr Maryalice McGurk, Associate Director of Manufacturing & Distribution, Almac Diagnostic Services
After studying biomedical science at University of Ulster, Coleraine, leading to a doctorate in molecular oncology at Queen’s University Belfast, Maryalice joined Almac Diagnostic Services in 2003. Maryalice’s role focuses on leading a number of teams responsible for the set up of manufacturing processes, manufacture and distribution of reagent kits, specimen collection kit products and sample logistics for Almac Diagnostic Services’ biomarker and CDx programs with major pharmaceutical partners.
Warren Keys, Central Laboratory Services Manager, Almac Diagnostic Services
Warren studied Biological Sciences at Queen’s University Belfast, before briefly working in veterinary immunodiagnostics. Warren joined Almac Diagnostic Services in 2015 and has developed a wealth of experience across different aspects of sample management, genomic services and clinical testing. Warren manages a dedicated team specialising in sample management services, including inventory management, histopathology and nucleic acid extraction to support a range of downstream molecular platforms.
