Almac present on Investigational Medicinal Products to leading Industry body

Clinical Services Quality VP of Quality discusses “The challenges faced by an Investigational Medicinal Product Qualified Person”.
Paul O’Connor, Vice- President of Quality and Qualified Person (QP) delivered the keynote address during a David-Begg Associates gathering on 12th July 2007. Over 70 industry QPs were present at the event, entitled
“Strategic Issues for the Pharmaceutical Professional”,
which took place on 12th July in York, United Kingdom.
During the invitation only seminar, Paul discussed the challenges faced by QPs in today’s industry. The presentation also reviewed the Clinical Trial Directive EU 2001/20/EC and examined the roles and responsibilities of the Qualified Person post-directive.
Paul said:
“There are many stakeholders within our marketplace and it is of immense benefit to share expertise and experiences, particularly regarding the legislative framework which affects us.”
