Maiko graduated from Japan Women’s University Department of Humanities and Cultures, Faculty of Integrated Arts and Social Sciences, with a BCs in Humanities and Cultures. An experienced Business Development Director and seasoned global pharmaceutical industry professional, Maiko possesses a proven ability to deliver exceptional supply chain solutions to clients.

Joining Almac Clinical Services in 2015 as a Project Leader, Maiko progressed into a Business Development role in 2016 where she worked with new and existing Japanese clients to provide innovative global clinical supply solutions.

Based in Tokyo, Japan, Maiko is now responsible for Almac’s business development activity in the APAC region. She works closely with Almac teams at both the APAC headquarters in Singapore and the global headquarters in Northern Ireland; harnessing her 17 years’ experience across the clinical logistics sector to champion excellence in customer service and solutions delivery.
