Dr. Rodney Brown

Dr Rodney Brown, Radiolabelling Team leader at Almac Sciences has been involved in the synthesis of

carbon-14 radiolabelled compounds at Almac for 17 years and has completed a number of GMP syntheses.

He is currently responsible for line management of a team of radiochemists, preparation of GMP documentation, dealing with internal and external Quality Assurance audits, ensuring compliance with GMP procedures within the Isotope Chemistry Laboratories and delivery of cGMP, carbon-14 labelled materials to clients designated Clinical Research Organisation (CRO), typically on tight timelines ’
