As Director of Quality Assurance, Andrew is responsible for Site Quality Compliance, Site Quality Operations, Site Lab Operations and Site Tech Quality Operations.
Experience:
Completing a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Cell Biology from the University of Glasgow in 1985, Andrew has developed an extensive and experienced career in the pharmaceutical industry, spanning over 2 decades.
Starting his career at SAFC Pharma in 1997, Andrew worked as a Quality Manager for 15 years before joining Abbott Diagnostics in 2012 as a Senior QA Specialist. Following a move to Amdipharm as a Regulatory Compliance Manager, in 2013, he joined Shire as a Senior QA Specialist II, where he worked for 4 years.
In 2017, Andrew joined Almac Pharma Services as a Quality Assurance Manager, a role he held until 2022, when he was promoted to Director of Quality Assurance at Almac’s Charnwood facility.
