Current Role
In her role as Senior Technical Quality Specialist, Jayne is responsible for the validation and commercial release of packaging process NPI’s at Almac Pharma Services’ Craigavon and Dundalk sites. This involves the compilation and review of varying documentation to support a seamless transition from design through to commercial launch. She is also involved in process improvements and efficiencies to further improve our operations and ultimately maximise client satisfaction.
Experience
Starting her career in medical diagnostics as a QC analyst, Jayne then moved into a QA role in medical devices. This allowed her to develop skills and gain industry knowledge on processes and regulations prior to moving into the pharmaceutical sector, whilst also helping her to appreciate aspects that go into ensuring a product is of good quality from R&D through to commercialisation.
Experience in these areas has served Jayne well in her current role within Almac as she ensures that the processes and improvements we validate are compliant with industry regulations, but also have quality at the core of how we perform, ensuring each product that we manufacture is consistent, acceptable and repeatable quality to protect patients and our clients.
