Current Role
In her role as Senior Quality Assurance Specialist, Liza ensures the quality and compliance of commercial pharmaceutical products, following the highest standards and regulations. She works with a team of QA professionals, supporting the manufacturing, packaging, and distribution processes, while also assisting with audits and inspections. Liza’s day-to-day job entails the monitoring and maintenance of QMS systems, including the review of GMP documentation to support the successful delivery of projects for global clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and patient safety.
Experience
Liza graduated from Queen’s University Belfast in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics, where she gained a strong scientific background and a passion for learning. Liza developed analytical and critical thinking, problem-solving, and data analysis skills, which she was able to apply to various laboratory experiments, research projects, and assignments. Having joined Almac Group as a Quality Assurance Graduate in 2020, Liza quickly progressed through to a Quality Assurance Specialist in 2021 and more recently a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist role in 2023, thanks to her hard work, dedication, and passion for quality.
