Product Manager, PA, USA

Almac Clinical Technologies

Current Role

In 2024, Nathan was recruited by Almac Clinical Technologies to serve as an eCOA (electronic Clinical Outcome Assessment) expert, a role that draws on his deep experience in optimizing data integrity and assessment reliability across clinical research settings.

Experience

Nathan graduated in 2008 from Juniata College with a degree in biopsychology. During his undergraduate and postbaccalaureate years, he worked closely with animals – first as a zookeeper and later as a research assistant at Columbia University. However, the 2008 financial crisis disrupted his plans to pursue a long-term career in research, prompting a shift toward clinical care. He began working with individuals facing chronic mental health conditions, focusing on complex disorders such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and major depression.

In 2011, when the opportunity to return to research presented itself, Nathan transitioned into a role as a study coordinator at a small research site. Two years later, in 2013, he joined Bracket Global (now Signant Health) as a Clinical Scientist. While at Signant, he earned a Master of Science in Psychology and became a recognized expert in clinical trial methodologies – particularly in services that enhance endpoint quality, such as third-party central rating.
