Current Role
In his role as Quality Operations Manager, Ryan is responsible for the management of the Quality Assurance activities supporting Manufacturing, Packing and Laboratory operations on the Craigavon site. He also ensures that operations are carried out in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice / Good Laboratory Practice, and supports the wider business in meeting its objectives.
Experience
Fresh out of university, Ryan worked in a Quality Compliance and R&D laboratory, analysing raw materials and finished products to pharmacopeial methods. In this role, he also gained practical experience in both method development and validation. Now with over 14 years’ experience in QA roles across Veterinary and Human Pharmaceuticals, and the fine chemical industries, Ryan has been entrusted with tasks ranging from reviewing batch records and generating SOPs, to training personnel, leading audits, and managing a quality system across two sites.
Currently, as the Quality Operations Manager at Almac Pharma Services in Craigavon, he supports Pharmaceutical Development and the commercial side of the business, ensuring compliance and a positive client experience.
