Current Role:
As a Commercial Services Manager within Almac Pharma Services, Andrew works closely with our partners to ensure the timely delivery of vital treatments to patients around the world. He plays a key role in aligning internal teams and client stakeholders, driving clear communication, consistency and efficiency across commercial supply operations. Alongside his day-to-day responsibilities, he actively identifies opportunities to improve processes and enhance ways of working, including the adoption of digital tools to increase transparency and collaboration.
Experience:
Andrew brings a strong background in commercial leadership, operations and client management. Prior to joining Almac, he spent nearly nine years at British Steel, progressing from Commercial Manager to General Manager, where he was responsible for managing commercial strategy, leading teams and overseeing the performance and development of a key service centre. In this role, he managed pricing strategies, supported business continuity and worked closely with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
Earlier in his career, Andrew developed a broad skillset across customer service and account management, building a strong foundation in client engagement and operational delivery. Through these experiences, he has developed a collaborative leadership style and a passion for driving improvement in fast-paced, customer-focused environments.
