Current Role:
As Proposal Team Leader of Manufacturing for Almac Pharma Services, Billy ensures accuracy and quality in proposal costing and scope while training and managing his team to maintain strong communication and deliver timely, high quality proposals. Alongside his proposal writing responsibilities, he identifies and drives improvements to processes, templates, and cost sheets to streamline workflows across the group, Billy also supports the Bid/No Bid process providing informed assessments to ensure opportunities are aligned with operational capability, strategic fit, and commercial viability.
Experience:
Billy has over 9 years of experience within Almac Group, progressing through roles of increasing responsibility since joining as an Analyst in 2017. He advanced to Senior Analyst in 2019, moved to Proposals Management in 2021 and has served as a Proposals Team Leader since 2024. Throughout this progression, Billy has developed extensive expertise in proposal development, costing strategy and cross-functional collaboration, working closely with operational, supply chain, commercial and project teams to deliver accurate, client-focused proposals for global pharmaceutical programmes.
