Current Role:
Gillian Wilson, PhD., a Project Services Liaison at Almac Clinical Services, collaborates closely with the Business Development team to define the project’s objectives and technical requirements, aiming to optimise operational efficiency and prioritise patient well-being. Gillian actively assists new clients during the initiation of their partnership with Almac’s project services and facilitates the seamless handover of studies within the internal teams.
Previous Experience:
Gillian has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for over 18 years, 12 of which have been dedicated to Clinical Supply Chain Management. During this time she was responsible for forecasting, production planning and inventory management for global clinical trials, phase I through to phase IV. Gillian has experience with small and large molecules, inhalers, vials and comparator sourcing for global trials including APAC countries.
Gillian has BSc Hons in Pharmacology from the University of Dundee, a PhD in Molecular Biology from University of St. Andrews and is a certified Project Management Professional.
