Current Role:
John joined Almac Pharma Services, part of Almac Group in 2003 and was appointed VP Technical Operations in 2011, responsible for the Pharmaceutical Development Department which brings together Formulation Development, Analytical Support and Project Management. John was appointed Managing Director and President of Almac Pharma Services in 2022 and will now be responsible for overall strategic, operational and financial leadership of the Almac Pharma Services business.
John has extensive product development, quality assurance and validation experience with direct experience of hosting product pre-approval inspections by the FDA as well as inspections from other regulatory authorities. Experience of technical, quality and regulatory related requirements for different phases of drug product development.
Experience:
John has over 20 years experience in various roles in pharmaceutical industry. Dosage form experience includes terminally sterilised parenteral products as well as packaging of a wide range of dosage forms for international clinical trials. Additional experience in a project management role in the clinical trial packaging business.
