Company presents on Adaptive Trial Design & EDC industry challenges

Almac Clinical Technologies will be presenting at three major clinical conferences over the next two months. Eva Miller, Head of Biostatistics at Almac’s facility in Yardley, PA is due to speak at two upcoming DIA conferences: DIA Clinical Data Management and the 19th Annual DIA Euromeeting. In addition, Fritz Haas, VP of New Products at Almac Clinical Technologies will speak at the 11th annual EDC & Beyond conference at Rosen Shingle Creek, Orlando, Florida in early April.

Dr. Miller will give an in-depth presentation at each event on the administration of flexible dosing and the implementation of adaptive randomisations. Almac Clinical Technologies is at the forefront of adaptive trial design. Dr Miller said:

“Adaptive trial design is becoming more and more important as the demands of various licensing agencies become more prescriptive and demanding. At Almac, we are ahead of the curve, and across the world others are keen to hear what our company is doing.”

Mr. Haas will share his thoughts on overcoming the challenges associated with developing a comprehensive view of clinical data using EDC. This session will explore the core technologies that comprise EDC systems, the critical upstream and downstream data integrations, along with the essential ingredients for a successful EDC solution. Mr. Haas notes, “The ability to view and work with integrated data has become increasingly important in Clinical Trials. Knowing how to develop and utilize this capability is more critical than ever, and EDC systems are at the heart of the matter.” Almac’s product, iTrialEDC™, has proven its reliability over the course of more than 10 years of use by investigative sites worldwide.
