Almac Group Invites Attendees to Join Workshop in San Diego to Learn About Cold Chain Management in Clinical Trials

Souderton, PA, U.S., 14 December 2018 – Almac Clinical Services, part of the global contract pharmaceutical development and manufacturing organization the Almac Group, is pleased to invite participants from the pharmaceutical and biopharma industries to join its San Diego lunch and learn to discuss cold chain management in clinical trials.

The complimentary event will be held at the NINE-TEN Restaurant & Bar in San Diego, CA on Wednesday, January 30^th from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Two of Almac’s subject matter experts, Bryan Thompson and Mark Clayton, will deliver a presentation entitled Playing it cool – cold chain solutions for your clinical supply chain. The presentation will examine challenges faced with a temperature controlled clinical supply chain, and aims to educate attendees on choosing appropriate packaging, labeling, storage, and distribution for temperature sensitive clinical trial materials. 

Almac Clinical Services Production Manager and presentation speaker, Bryan Thompson, comments on the upcoming lunch and learn:

With an increase in biologics and biosimilar type drugs being trialed, there is an increase in demand for cold chain management solutions in order to handle the packaging, labeling, storage and shipping of refrigerated and frozen product.
