Almac Pharma Services Extend Formulation Facilities

Almac Pharma Services is extending it’s formulation facilities with the opening of a revamped, technology-rich 10,500 ft 2 building, at the company’s United Kingdom headquarters later this month. The enhanced facility represents an investment of $10.5 million and strengthens the company’s offering to the global pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries

The custom-designed facility will operate to full cGMP, providing extended formulation development services in solid oral dosage forms from pre-clinical through to pilot scale. This advancement, will provide classified facilities (ISO 8 / Class 100,000) including laboratories with independent temperature and humidity controlled zones and self-contained suites – many with High Containment capabilities. Our highly skilled scientists can use just milligrams of your valuable API to prepare supplies for first time in-man (FTIM) studies, or can develop and optimise your formulation to progress it through to commercial manufacture.
