PA Governor Tom Corbett Praises Almac during Visit

The Almac Group were delighted to welcome Governor of Pennsylvania, Tom Corbett  to their Souderton based facility on Tuesday 8^th July during which he was given an extensive tour of the state-of-the-art building which included observation of various operations within the production, warehouse and laboratory areas. He also used the opportunity to meet employees and discuss some of the ground-breaking activity being carried out by the Group.

Governor Corbett commented “We’re seeing jobs growing across Pennsylvania and this is just an opportunity to see it here in the middle of Montgomery County.”  He praised Almac’s excellence in innovation which has delivered global success for the company and secured a significant number of high value jobs in the Souderton region.  He also commended the exceptional financial benefit that Almac contributes to the wider economy which is estimated to be in excess of $20 billion by 2017.
