Winter Storm impacting North America: Almac Group Update

Due to the impact of Winter Storm Fern, and in the interests of employee safety, Almac Group has closed its North Carolina operations on 26th January. It is planned that business will resume as normal on Tuesday 27th January. Due to the adverse weather, Almac has also closed its Distribution & Production Operations in Audubon and Souderton, Pennsylvania until 3pm EST on Monday.

Almac is committed to continuity of supply for our clients, their patients and to excellence in our customer service. We will endeavor to mitigate any significant impact due to this short closure.

Impact on clinical shipments – North Carolina

There has been significant disruption to distribution routes in North Carolina and to our North Carolina facility.  As a result, Almac has suspended all shipments on Monday 26th January.   

We are working closely with our courier partners to limit any delays. Shipments originally planned for Monday will be collected and dispatched throughout Tuesday, 27 January. Please note that shipments scheduled for dispatch on Tuesday may experience delays of up to 24 hours.
