A Statement to our Valued Clients on the Coronavirus Outbreak
by CEO and Chairman, Alan Armstrong
“Throughout the pandemic, as an essential business, Almac has continued to conduct our critical business operations in all of our locations.
We constantly monitor the rapidly changing situation. We have matched or indeed, in many cases greatly exceeded, guidance from governments and health officials to ensure the health and safety of our employees and our ability to deliver medicines to patients. This has always been our top priority and continues to be so.
We continue to offer our clients an uninterrupted and unhindered level of service. We appreciate the criticality of maintaining global supply chains. Our teams are fully appraised of all actions and changes required and are committed to keeping you informed at all stages during this outbreak”.
Should you have any additional concerns regarding your specific protocol, shipment or product, please do not hesitate to contact your Almac representative.
How has the pandemic affected Almac’s operations?
Almac is at the forefront of the development, manufacturing, testing and distribution of essential medicines to vulnerable patients across the globe. Indeed, Almac is assisting clients in over 200 covid research projects.
Almac is recognised as an “essential” or “life-sustaining” business. We are following all local government guidance and best practice. As a qualifying essential business, we are operating across all our sites globally.
If deemed “business critical”, can clients visit Almac’s facilities?
Access to Almac facilities is limited and our employees are currently using additional methods to conduct client meetings (including virtual communication tools, videos etc.) in addition to traditional on-site meetings. Should you wish to discuss a potential visit, please contact your Almac representative.
