As Associate Director of Formulation Development, Manas Tilekar leads Formulation and Process Development at our Charnwood campus. His responsibilities span early-stage development, clinical manufacturing, registration batches, and PPQ manufacturing.
Experience
With over 13 years of experience in solid oral dosage form R&D, Manas began his career at Evonik Industries as a Formulation Scientist, where he was involved in developing modified-release dosage forms using pharmaceutical polymers. He then joined Almac Pharma Services, where he progressed through roles including Formulation Development Scientist, Group Leader, and Senior Group Leader.
Manas brings specialized expertise in oral solid dosage forms, including various granulation technologies, tableting, encapsulation, and film coating. He applies a range of scientific approaches to scale up processes effectively, ensuring robust and efficient pharmaceutical development. Today, he continues to drive innovation and quality through his technical insight and leadership.
